Welcome!The Wheaton Women's Republican Club, located in DuPage County in Wheaton, Illinois, is a local organization under the national guidelines of the National Federation of Republican Women (NFRW) - America's foremost women's political organization.The Wheaton Women's Republican Club began in 1942 when a group of women got together for coffee in the home of Mrs. Verni (Helen) McCallum. When the conversation turned to politics, this devoted group of women forged a goal to elect a Republican to the Presidency in 1944. While the Republican candidate, Governor Dewey, was not successful in unseating FDR, these women continued in their quest to help promote Republican values and the Republican Party. That tradition continues today. In the 65 years since its founding, the Wheaton Women's Republican Club has continued the task of involving women in government. The WWRC strives to
