A voice actor essentially works harder than a Hollywood superstar. It’s real tough for him to show feelings and emotions while reading, fully knowing that he will not be seen on the screen. The voice actor must be able to empathize with the persona that he portrays and make sure that he breathes life into the script. It is in this area where voice over training is necessary.

Voice over artists are able to learn the craft of voice acting and find good employment in this field by going through voice over training. There are 1000s of cartoon and animated TV shows, web shows, TV/radio advertisements, web videos, and movies being made regularly. Take note that about 20 to 30 characters make up the cast of just one movie or TV show. There are worldwide opportunities galore for a voice actor.

Basic skills required to join a voice over training course

One of the most important tools of the trade is diction. Perfect enunciation is required from the student, hence, it is necessary for him to go to speech classes to perfect his diction. The Coco Plum Woman’s Club in Coral Gables hosted this fun and lively event that saw a rowdy crowd for this year’s delegates. In charge of hosting the event were Megan Morin (Miss Coral Gables USA 2011) and Brianne Bailey (Miss Coral Gables Teen USA 2011) with assistance from South Miami Little Sister Evelyn Ludicke as they kept the crowd enthused all day.
